Positon: Paralegal

Hours: Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm

Wage: £22,000+ DOE

Location: City Centre Manchester

Our client is looking for Paralegals to join their team in Manchester. This is your opportunity to make your mark at an ethical law firm!

They are founded in Manchester and have been helping the public with their legal claims. They specialise in acting for tenants where their landlord have failed to repair their property and protecting deposits as the law requires.

To date, they have recovered well over £100 million for their clients.

They are looking for Paralegals to help support their Solicitors and their caseload of financial mis-sell and data breach cases, working from their head office full time.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Taking instructions from clients.
• Instructing experts.
• Instructing council.
• Issuing court proceedings.

Experience

• Must have Financial miss sell or data breach experience.
• Consumer based claims such as diesel emissions, car or home finance claims.
• Candidates that have worked on volume based claims.
• Can retrain from other areas of law if 1+ years experience already as a paralegal

The ideal candidate will:

• Have a law degree – ESSENTIAL
• Have Litigation Experience
• Have financial mis sell or data breach experience.
• Be highly organised.
• An excellent communicator.
• Confident, dynamic and with a desire to succeed.
• IT literate.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From £22,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

• Commission pay
