We are currently seeking a dedicated and customer-focused individual to join our customer service team as a customer service Agent.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service by handling both inbound and outbound calls from our clients. Your main objective will be to assist clients who need assistance with making changes to their insurance policies, taking payments, or requesting cancellations.

Your proactive approach and effective strategies will be essential in saving policies whenever possible.

Responsibilities:

Handle both inbound and outbound calls from clients, assisting them with changes to their insurance policies, processing payments, or addressing cancellation requests.
Utilise persuasive communication techniques and negotiation skills to proactively retain policies when clients express an intention to cancel.
If a change cannot be performed due to underwriter declining or system error, the customer service Agent will be responsible for requoting the policy with a different underwriter to provide alternative cover with the required changes.
Accurately document and update client interactions, changes, and policy information using our internal systems.

Requirements:

Previous experience in customer service, preferably in a call centre or insurance-related role.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and engage with clients effectively.

Strong negotiation and persuasion skills to encourage policy retention.
Empathy and the ability to understand and address clients’ concerns and needs.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail and accuracy in documenting client interactions and policy changes.
Computer literate.
