Reporting directly into the FNOL Team Leader the purpose of the FNOL Claims Handler is to take new reports of motor claims from referred clients and assess eligibility for credit services. The FNOL handler makes decisions as to services to offer and to provides a risk assessment to assign the claim to the correct panel member.


  • Handle first notification of loss of motor claims
  • Effectively manage case load via telephone
  • Problem solve and make decisions on services based on individual case details
  • Access liability and conduct liability investigations to ensure recoverability of the claim is maximized and business and customer risk is limited.
  • Effective prioritization of workload to ensure claims are dealt with effectively and risk is managed
  • Be first point of contact for customers and referral partners
  • Meet monthly and quarterly KPIs on deployment of services
  • To ensure data inputted is accurate and ensure data is maintained on handled cases
  • Ensure strict adherence to company policies regarding Treating Customers Fairly, GDPR and FCA compliance
  • IT Literate (including all Office programs)
  • Work on own initiative

  • Flexibility dealing with changing demands and new processes

Weekly rotating shifts, Week 1 – 08:30 – 17:00, Week 2 – 10:00 – 19:00, and every one in three Saturdays 09:00 – 17:00.
