Property Litigator

my client is an award-winning, business orientated law firm who work with a host of widely
recognised clients and organisations.

Their litigation team is regularly ranked highly within the Legal 500 publication with one of their partners being ranked a Leading Partner and one Associate being ranked a Leading Associate. They are looking to recruit a strong, ambitious Property Litigation Solicitor to join the team at the office in Birmingham city centre.

The ideal candidate will have experience in:

o Contentious Landlord and Tenant matters acting for both tenant and landlord in
residential and commercial property matters
o Boundary Disputes
o General property disputes
o TOLATA claims
o Professional Negligence claims relating to property
o Commercial /General Litigation experience would be useful in assisting the Commercial Litigation Team where necessary

And Skills in:
• Using Word, Excel, pdf Docs (or similar) and a case management system.
• Advocacy when required.
• Working as part of a Team and under pressure.
• Building on the excellent reputation already established and help to develop their offering.
• Taking an active part in firm wide business development.
• Providing an excellent standard of client care and be able to manage client expectations.

The role involves significant client contact and therefore someone with strong communication and
client care skills is a must. You should be able to work under supervision, meet tight deadlines and
as part of the dispute resolution team.

The successful candidate should ideally be between 2 – 5 years’ PQE. This level of experience has
been given as an approximate guide for applicants but they are happy to consider the applications of
candidates who fall outside of this level but who have the relevant knowledge/experience, together
with the enthusiasm for this particular role.

The role is based in the firm’s Birmingham City Centre Office. Flexible and Hybrid working options
can be considered.
