Role Overview: We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Property Lawyer to head up our Manchester Property Department. This is a key leadership role that will involve overseeing a talented team, managing client relationships, and contributing to the firm’s corporate transactions that include property elements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the Manchester Property Department, ensuring the delivery of exceptional service to our clients.
• Delegate work effectively to other team members while providing support and guidance on complex property matters.
• Collaborate with corporate teams on transactions involving property, ensuring seamless integration of legal expertise.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions.
• Stay updated on industry trends and changes in property law to ensure the department remains at the forefront of best practices.
• Mentor and develop junior lawyers and support staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
• Contribute to the strategic direction of the property department and the wider firm.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 4 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in property law.
• Proven track record in managing property transactions and providing legal support in corporate matters.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
