About Us:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join our clients team. Expertise demonstrable in one or more specific specialist areas relevant to the engineering discipline with a track record of successful application of specialist knowledge or skills.

 

  1. Conceptual Design: Develop concepts and ideas for new products or components based on project requirements and specifications.
  2. Detailed Design: Create detailed designs and engineering drawings using CAD software (Computer-Aided Design) such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or CATIA.
  3. Prototyping: Work with prototype teams to create physical prototypes of designs for testing and evaluation.
  4. Analysis: Conduct analysis and simulations (e.g., Finite Element Analysis) to assess the performance, durability, and safety of designs.
  5. Material Selection: Select appropriate materials for components based on mechanical properties, cost, and manufacturing considerations.
  6. Manufacturability: Ensure designs are optimized for manufacturability, considering factors such as ease of assembly, machining, and manufacturing processes.
  7. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including other engineers, project managers, and manufacturing personnel to ensure design requirements are met.
  8. Problem-solving: Identify and troubleshoot design issues that arise during development, testing, or production, and propose solutions.
  9. Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive design documentation including drawings, specifications, and engineering change orders.
  10. Compliance: Ensure designs comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and quality requirements.
  11. Cost Optimization: Identify opportunities to reduce costs through design optimization and value engineering.
  12. Continuous Improvement: Participate in design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement efforts to enhance product quality and efficiency.
  13. Project Management: Manage design projects from conception to completion, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  14. Communication: Communicate effectively with internal teams, suppliers, and external partners to coordinate activities and ensure project objectives are met.
  15. Training and Development: Stay updated on advances in mechanical engineering technology and techniques, and participate in training and professional development activities to enhance skills and knowledge.
