The Role:
Our client is a fast growing Web3 infrastructure business building protocol level products within the Ethereum ecosystem. Its technology sits at the intersection of DeFi, restaking and next generation blockchain infrastructure, supporting adoption across both crypto native and institutional counterparties.
They are looking for a Head of Sales to own and scale the global commercial and revenue strategy. This is a senior leadership role with full responsibility for driving adoption, partnerships and monetisation across a suite of protocol products. You will operate with high autonomy, working closely with growth, product and engineering to shape go to market execution and long term revenue strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and execute the global sales and revenue strategy for a high growth Web3 protocol
- Drive commercial adoption across DeFi native and institutional counterparties Build and manage senior relationships with protocols, validators, funds, market makers, exchanges and ecosystem partners
- Lead complex commercial deals from initial engagement through structuring, negotiation and close
- Develop pricing, partnership and distribution frameworks to support sustainable growth
- Collaborate closely with growth, product, engineering and marketing teams on launches and go to market initiatives
- Represent the business in external sales conversations, ecosystem discussions and industry events
- Build, manage and scale a high performing sales and partnerships function
- Track pipeline performance, revenue metrics and market feedback to inform commercial strategy
Key Requirements:
- 5 plus years of experience in sales, partnerships or revenue leadership within DeFi, Web3 or crypto infrastructure
- Strong understanding of Ethereum, DeFi protocols, liquid staking and restaking, and emerging infrastructure layers
- Proven ability to close complex, high value deals with technical and protocol focused stakeholders
- Experience selling protocol primitives, infrastructure or financial products rather than traditional SaaS
- Strong existing network across the crypto and DeFi ecosystem
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Highly autonomous, commercially driven and execution focused
- Previous experience building or leading sales teams is highly desirable
