Head of New Business Sales – Manchester City Centre
Salary: Up to £55,000 + £5,000 car allowance + profit share (up to 4% of salary)
OTE: £90,000+ (uncapped commission)
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:45am–5:30pm
About the Role
We’re seeking a results-driven Head of New Business Sales to lead a team of 40 BDMs and 2 Senior Sales Managers. You’ll drive growth in a fast-paced, high-velocity sales environment, delivering new business opportunities, demonstrating software solutions, and upselling HR, H&S, and Payroll services.
This is a senior leadership role for an experienced sales leader with a strong track record in call centre or inside sales leadership, team coaching, and hitting aggressive revenue targets.
Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and inspire the sales team to exceed KPIs

Oversee full sales cycle: lead generation → solution demos → deal closure

Ensure compliance with internal and FCA regulations

Manage performance, pipeline, and team development

Build strong client relationships and drive long-term growth

Collaborate with senior leadership on sales strategy and execution
Requirements

Proven experience in senior sales leadership roles

Strong B2B sales background, ideally in SaaS/software solutions

Experience managing large teams in high-volume sales environments

Excellent communication, coaching, and stakeholder management skills

Familiarity with CRM and sales tools (e.g., Salesforce, Genesys)
