Sales Training Manager Location: Manchester Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum
Job Purpose
Drive sales performance by designing and delivering an ongoing training and development plan focused on all aspects of the sales role. Reports to the Head of Digital Sales.
Experience Required
- Proven experience in developing and delivering high-impact sales training programs within a telephone-based B2B environment.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Sales Manager and Quality & Compliance Assessor to design and deliver induction training for new team members, ensuring they acquire the necessary skills and motivation to meet targets.
- Develop and deliver an ongoing training schedule to build a world-class sales function.
- Identify individual training needs and communicate effectively with Sales Manager and Head of Sales to boost performance and productivity.
- Provide ongoing CRM training (Salesforce) to optimize sales processes and stay updated on developments, implementing changes across the department.
- Regularly update training materials in collaboration with the Sales Manager to align with business needs.
- Ensure all training is of a high professional standard, enabling team members to meet business requirements and achieve targets.
- Partner with Sales Manager, Head of Sales, and Quality & Compliance Assessor for ongoing team development.
- Review the effectiveness of sales training programs against business goals and make recommendations for improvement.
- Monitor course evaluations and feedback to identify areas for improvement and enhance training outcomes.
- Maintain up-to-date training records and review them monthly with Sales Manager and Head of Sales.
- Identify training trends and needs in collaboration with the Quality & Compliance Assessor and Sales Manager.
- Provide constructive feedback to relevant managers regarding issues impacting performance or brand standards.
