Title: Legal Administrator

Our client is a busy multidisciplinary legal practice based in Manchester city centre.
The firm provide a professional, personalised service for private and commercial clients and they are building a reputation as one of the city’s leading law firms. With the combined areas of specialism offered by representatives, the firm is qualified to provide high-quality legal advice and guidance for consumers and corporate clients.
You will be responsible for working closely with the PCP/DCA Team’s Fee Earners and Paralegals to ensure client matters are administered to a high standard. You will possess a sharp eye for detail and be a pro-active, organised team player.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Administration handling post
- Scanning correspondence
- Managing team Inbox and allocation
- Client engagement, working alongside the departments fee earners and file handlers to ensure organisation within the department’s correspondence and communication
- Confident telephone manner with excellent customer service delivery
- Pro-active team player
- Exposure to file opening and non-complex matters
- Preparing and arranging court documents
- Generating and communicating team figures and statistics in weekly/daily management reports
- Strong written and verbal English communication.
The successful candidate must have:
- A law degree (LLB, BA, MSc).
- Minimum 6 months administrative experience [non-legal experience considered]
- The ability to establish priorities and manage deadlines.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Fluency in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- A Proactive team player
