Our client is a busy multidisciplinary legal practice based in Manchester city centre.
The firm provide a professional, personalised service for private and commercial clients and they are building a reputation as one of the city’s leading law firms. With the combined areas of specialism offered by representatives, the firm is qualified to provide high-quality legal advice and guidance for consumers and corporate clients.
You will be responsible for working closely with the Business Interruption Team’s Fee Earners and Paralegals to ensure client matters are administered to a high standard. You will possess a sharp eye for detail and be a pro-active, organised team player.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Working alongside the departments fee earners and file handlers to ensure organisation within the department’s correspondence and communication
- Confident telephone manner with excellent customer service delivery
- Pro-active team player
- Exposure to file opening and non-complex matters
- Preparing and arranging court documents
- Generating and communicating team figures and statistics in weekly/daily management reports
- Strong written and verbal English communication.
The successful candidate must have:
- Minimum 12 months administrative experience [non-legal experience considered]
- The ability to establish priorities and manage deadlines.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Fluency in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- A Proactive team player
